Tan Jue Hui (also known as Tan Kian Ming) is a Shingon Buddhist monk, visual artist, and university lecturer. He holds a BFA from the National Taiwan Normal University, Department of Fine Arts, and an MFA from Goldsmiths, University of London. He currently serves as the director of Losi Seed and Pasar Lab, and is a member of Rejoin Collective.

His practice spans video, installation, and research-based art, focusing on local folk culture, religious belief, and indigenous knowledge. As both a monk and an artist, he draws on religious practice and lived experience, exploring the fragility of history. Through fieldwork, site-specific projects, and interdisciplinary collaboration, he examines overlooked or fragmented historical traces, rethinking the ties between collective memory, historical narratives, and politics, and opening new ways for art to engage society.
